CGRI project - Cooperation between Belgium and Italy

Project summary

This cooperation has a triple objective:

  • To interface the traffic engineering toolbox coordinated by ULg/RUN with the monitoring and provisioning tools developed by the University of Naples - Federico II.
  • To deploy and test the toolbox on the experimental network managed by the latter.
  • To improve the tools and methods based on the test results.

Project partners:

  • University of Liège (Research Unit in Networking - RUN)
  • University of Naples - Federico II (COMICS group)

Funding

In Belgium, funding is provided by the CGRI (Commissariat Général aux Relations Internationales de la communauté française de Belgique) for short-term scientific missions.

Schedule

The project started on January 1st, 2005 for a duration of 2 years.
